About My Source

My Source is the vehicle that drives the work of the Public Awareness Initiative (PAI). It is a shared communications framework that enables public television and radio stations such as yours to powerfully demonstrate their value and relevance to their communities.

Through My Source, you are provided with the framework and the tools and resources your station needs to recruit ambassadors, collect stories and spark a dialogue about the impact of public broadcasting. The voices of your ambassadors will become part of a collaborative national effort that illustrates how public broadcasting contributes to a civil, diverse and participatory society.

Locally, collecting and sharing these stories will allow your station to highlight its strengths. Your station may be a source for educational resources, a source for culture or a source for trusted information, to name just a few options. The flexibility of My Source allows your station to contribute to its own unique voice to an important national initiative.
