KBAQ-FM (Phoenix, AZ)
With the My Source Community Impact Awards for engagement, KBAQ is being recognized for their projects, The Hearts of the Arts and Inspiring Youth in Classical Music.
KBAQ co-sponsors community events with the Arizona Opera, Ballet Arizona and Phoenix Symphony, promotes arts events of all types, including dance, lectures, performances and exhibits and profiles local composers. By bringing together premier performing and cultural arts organizations in the Phoenix area, the station creates synergies and drives appreciation for the arts. The station also highlights emerging young classical performers in the Phoenix area in short on-air performance pieces.
